Purpose

The Graduate Certificate in Level I Clinical Pastoral Education provides students with a biblical approach to chaplaincy ministry. Graduates encounter a Christocentric approach to spiritual care that can be used in a variety of chaplain settings. Students who complete this graduate certificate will be able to apply foundational concepts of clinical pastoral education to their own chaplaincy ministry.

The student will be able to:

• Apply foundational conceptual ideas of clinical pastoral education into ministerial practice.
